I was lucky enough to get to go to Australia a mere few weeks ago! Busy old times I tell you! Anyway, I had a cracking time, great to get the low down on the world of socks, from…another side of the world!

So, winter is (basically) here! And with it comes extreme sports, in other words, many snowball fights, along with the construction of numerous snowmen and snow angles.
This year, we decided that with the copious amounts of premature snow, it would be ridiculous not to take up the opportunity of creating our very own winter sport. Extreme snowball fights.
0. Each team must be wearing one of the rather dashing Lions Rampant colour schemes e.g. Collinson (Preferable a scarf and hat).
1. Each team must prepare an ice shelter to shied them from the enemies’ fire. (Or just get a cardboard box!)
2. Every time you knock off an opposition member’s hat, you collect it and put it in your fort.
3. The team who collects all of the opposition’s hats first is victorious
4. The loosing team must buy the winners a warming beverage

I went to watch the Leicester Tigers take on Leeds Carngie in the Aviva Premiership a week or so ago. What an absolutely thrilling game! Leicester plopped over 8 tries in a very once sided display of truely Rampant rugby! Final score, 48-6!! Smashing

This week Ben and I went off to ye olde Frampton show, or as it should be known, the ‘Rampton’ Show!
We tried our hands at a little amatuer fencing, some horse racing and generally just had a smashing time! Were any of you there?
Over the next few weeks we are going to be doing to rather cool things, so make sure you stay in tune for our Rampant antics!

On September the 4th the 2010 Aviva Rugby Premiership will kick off for a brand new enthralling season, and I for one am very VERY excited!
So much so that myself and Ben (my Rampant side-kick) went to play some Rampant Rugby in preperation for the season!

August 2010 saw the arrival of the 92nd PGA Golf Championship. Martin Kaymer came away with £875,740 or in Rampant talk enough money to buy 48,622 pairs of socks!!!
A special mention must be given to (Rampant) Rory McIlroy, the only Brit to get in to the top ten, achieving 3rd place. Tiger Woods seemed to be struggling, in an interview with ASAP Sports he simply said ‘But there’s a lot of room out there.’. Not a brilliant excuse for a word class golfer who landed 28th position.
In the spirit of the tournament it thought I’d have a dabble myself………..
